Dan Hill (He/Him)

Dan Hill (he/him) is a part-time, distanced PhD Student at the University of Exeter in the Department of Communication, Drama and Film. His central research question asks how does British musical theatre facilitate and present work to be inclusive and reflective of those who make it in the contemporary period? His queer temporal approach explores performances of history, childhood, happiness and homonormativity with the aim to produce a snapshot of queer British musical theatre since 2017. Alongside this project Dan also is the Assistant House Manager at Chichester Festival Theatre, working in a team at the centre of the venue’s audience operations.
