Georgia Achilleopoulou holds an MA in International Relations and Management Studies (University of Aberdeen) and an MFA in Performance Training (University of Plymouth). She is currently in the third year of her practice-based PhD with a scholarship at University of Exeter under Professor Konstantinos Thomaidis supervision. Her research focuses on physiovocality, autobiography and musical theatre under the lens of feminism and applied theatre researching for a community-facing musical theatre pedagogy and the developement of new forms of musical theatre. She has trained in singing (contemporary, classical, musical), as well as acting, physical theatre (Grotowski Institute) and autobiographical performance in UK.

 

Parallel to her academic work she is a Voice teacher in Drama department of Aristotelion University of Thessaloniki, in Traga Drama School and in National Conservatory in Athens.
