Facilities
Based at the Thornlea site, the Alexander Building is the main hub of Communications, Drama and Film at Exeter, and contains staff offices, rehearsal studios, teaching and meeting rooms and technical facilities. The Department also has facilities in The White House at Thornlea and in Roborough Studios on the main campus, a short walk away.
Students also have access to other facilities in the Faculty, including the Digital Humanities Lab and the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum.
Virtual Tour
The video below was created in April 2020 in isolation (using archive footage) to replace the 'live' experience of a facilities tour of Drama at Exeter.
You can also explore the facilities yourself using our self-guided 360 degree virtual tour, which can also be viewed using a VR system such as Oculus Go or using Google Cardboard viewer with a smartphone, for a fully immersive 3D view.
